We need to understand your needs and you need to understand how we’re going to help fulfil them. We’ll do our best to make both happen. You also need to be clear on what you are being charged. That is why our fee structure is simple.
We are open with our clients, and our prospective clients. If we think there’s nothing we can do for them, we’ll say. We can also give honest advice on products because we do not rely on the commissions from them; that money should belong to our clients and our aim is to return it to them.
This is not just about how often we meet, remembering your birthday or commiserating when your team has lost again. It’s about understanding that money is a means to an end. The ends are your personal or charitable ambitions and aspirations. We will seek to understand those and judge our success by how well we have helped you achieve them.
